Based on the long-standing tradition of simplicity of the original Hoffmann Fixator, the Hoffmann family of products are designed to match today’s biological repair and reconstruction methods. The Hoffmann LRF Hexapod adds additional deformity correction utility to the Hoffmann Limb Reconstruction Frame platform.

Complemented by the Hoffmann LRF Web Application (fixmyleg.stryker.com), the pre-op and post-op process is streamlined with case planning and management software.

Designed for complex cases

The typical Hoffmann LRF Hexapod features six motor struts that are designed to address deformities requiring complex corrections in a three-dimensional space.

Additional construct versatility is achieved through programmable strut-offsetting,  giving the web application user freedom to relocate struts as needed.

Hexapod strut

  • Designed to provide a range of motion capable of correcting three dimensional deformities
  • With a universal hinge integrated into the strut’s design, six struts can be configured into the hexapod configuration to create a virtual hinge construct to affect multiple axes of correction
  • Quick release features allow the construct to be unlocked for rapid, gross manipulation
  • Designed with a top-down actuation point and permits ¼mm adjustments
  • Pronounced audible and tactile confirmation of an adjustment is produced by the clicking mechanism
